Processor, hard disk performance and

The NC10 is designed for endurance, not speed, and is driven by the ubiquitous Intel Atom N270 CPU. The Thermal Design Power (TDP) rating of 2.5 W is much smaller than the 5.5 W of the Core Solo U1500 CPU and power consumption is less than 0.5 watts in low power states. The Intel data sheet shows an absolute voltage range between 0.75 and 1.10V. CPU-Z does not seem to read properly, but the tensions of the CPU-Z 1.40.5 former is much closer than the new version 1.49. I noticed a difference in energy consumption by about 2W between the total load on the CPU at 800MHz and 1.6GHz CPU load to text.

Battery, power supply and cooling

The power supply is small and light 40W (19V, 2.1A) Unit power cable of 1.8 m and has a power connector to 2 pin. The 2-Pins are thinner and lighter power cable network, which are travel-friendly. Power is based insignificant when the computer is off. samsung n110 review. There is no light on the power supply to prove it is power. While the 40W PSU is low in comparison with power supplies standard laptop, the 45W power supply comes with the G11, Sony is even smaller.

Keyboard and touchpad

Samsung NC10 presented the generous keyboard, but the compensation is a relatively small touchpad. The keyboard has a fairly standard design, including dedicated appreciated Pg Up and Pg Down keys. Ctrl is ranked almost standard on the left front (Samsung have changed this year from the insertion of Fn in the corner). There are 84 keys (83 keys on the U.S. keyboard), who clearly marks on a white background in black plastic. The keys are slightly smaller than 17.7 mm of normal height and is easy to adjust from a normal keyboard.

Ports and Features

In general, the ports are very well presented. There are ports at the rear. Samsung have avoided shaking ports so close that they interfere with each other for all the USB ports of three years can still be used. There are ports on the front right side where the cables are available in the form of a mouse. The exhaust fan is near the rear left side. Perhaps the omission of a team-oriented trip is a modem port, but USB modems are relatively inexpensive.

Take a tour of the sides of the front clockwise:

The front panel has indicator lights and the media card slot (with a filling plastic)
Left side from back to front: Power socket, network connection, hood, two USB 2.0 ports (Note 3 CD cases against the rear edge of the scale),
The back: Nothing, except two hinges and light battery
The front right side towards the rear audio ports, a USB port, VGA port and security slot.
